Il nostro vino rosso Negroamaro protetto dalla D.O.P. Terra d’Otranto esprime sensazioni tipiche delle terre calcare e poco profonde, dei venti marini che caratterizzano l’area delle Serre di Terra d’Otranto, area di piccoli rilievi collinari caratterizzata da terreni calcarei, situata all’estremo sud della penisola è esposta ai venti marini dello Ionio e dell’Adriatico.

VINIFICAZIONE
Fermentazione in barrique di uve intere diraspate per circa 25 giorni, un anno di affinamento in acciaio, un anno di affinamento in bottiglia.

The 2018 vintage was very unique for the entire Salento peninsula, characterized by an overall fairly rainy season and not particularly hot in summer and during the harvest period. These conditions have given our Cru from the Pianura Salentina a marked acidity, giving life to a full red wine with an aromatic complexity on the nose and typical richness in the mouth with an added freshness on the finish. The 2020 vintage saw an important regularity of rainfall and temperatures which allowed our vineyards in the Plain area to conclude the season with excellent ripening of the grapes and an extraordinary balance between acidity, sugars and phenolic maturity. Our 2020 Negroamaro Rosso della Cru della Pianura wine has a surprisingly fruity and intense nose that sometimes overpowers the spice and a taste that is always long, full and with an important tannin that is decidedly well balanced in the mouth.
